Ms. Mabel's Surgeries
She's one tough cookie!
UPDATE: Mabel found a loving foster in between surgeries where she is her bright and adorable self. Her mammary mass removal and hernia surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 8/22.

With your support, the Foundation can fund Mabel's medical care, as was done with her successful dental and spay surgeries.

DONATE TOWARD MABEL'S MEDICAL NEEDS
STORY: Mabel was rescued from the South LA shelter with a mouth of missing teeth, a filthy coat and hip arthritis. The Foundation discoverd more issues that are being treated at sister hospital, Animal Wellness Centers. She has been giving her all the care and comfort she deserves. Her adorable tongue hangs low only because of missing teeth.

She's got a lot of personality and love to give. Mabel has won the hearts of many volunteers. Adopt Mabel!

Sweetie Pie Kye
Prepares for Complex Neuter

FOSTER WANTED!

Kye is a special rescue boy. He was born with genital deformities requiring a very specific and complex type of neuter surgery. After his surgery, he will be healthy and adoptable.

Kye is a sweet soul - timid in new environments and with new friends. He loves to be held and snuggling on your lap. We’re seeking a calm and secure forever loving home for this darling.

While doctors at Animal Wellness Centers prepare for surgery, we are seeking a local foster home.

Contact us to meet Kye.

Katelyn
Waiting for the Real Thing
FOREVER HOME WANTED

UPDATE
Katelyn is a 4-year-old adult beauty, independent and affectionate. However, after being returned twice and overlooked among kitten season, Kate has developed a case of the blues.

STORY: Kate was picked up by animal control after her owners tossed her out two years ago. She was adopted shortly after until a family member became ill and surrendered her. Kate is feeling down about how long it's taking to find real love.
When you give Katelyn a comfy blanket and your company, she returns with love, affection and loyalty. She's seeking a calm home without other cats, where she can shine as your furry companion.

Contact us to meet her!

IMMEDIATE FOSTER HOME WANTED!
Contact Us
if you are in Los Angeles, have senior dog experience and want to help!

STORY: Huck was almost euthanized before the Foundation stepped in, seeing a severely neglected 13-year-old Labrador who was still very much alert, mobile and nothing short of sweet. Upon initial examining, doctors at Animal Wellness Centers discovered Huck has advanced ear and skin infections - extremely inflamed skin from untreated mange mites and chronic arthritis.

Animal Wellness Foundation.org is helping animals through veterinary care, rescue and adoptions. You can help by volunteering and by becoming a sustaining donor.

The Animal Wellness Foundation (Foundation) is a Los Angeles-based private charitable organization with a mission of helping animals by making veterinary care available to everyone with a pet, regardless of economic ability. We organize rescue efforts and medical services for dogs and cats in need and help homeless pets find a loving caregiver. We are advocates for getting veterinarians to the front lines of the animal welfare movement; promoting responsible pet ownership; and vaccinating animals against infectious diseases such as distemper. We also support policies that prevent animal cruelty and that alleviate suffering. We believe helping animals helps us all.
