Animal Wellness Foundation COVID-19 Relief Fund

The Animal Wellness Foundation has created the COVID-19 Relief Fund to help pet owners in Southern California with food and medical services for their animals if they've lost a job and are facing an economic hardship in caring for their animals during the current national crisis. 

The Animal Wellness COVID-19 Relief program will concentrate in Southern California but we will partner with other vet hospitals in other parts of the state where there is support.

All donations are tax-deductible.

 

The COVID-19 Relief Fund will enable us to provide eligible pet owners with the following services at no charge:

 

  • quality dog & cat food

  • flea & tick prevention

  • heart worm prevention

  • vaccinations

  • examinations

  • diagnostic testing

  • approved medications

  • urgent surgeries

Barnaby

Barnaby, a senior terrier mix, struggles with GI issues and requires daily medicine and check-ins with veterinarians. Animal Wellness Foundation stepped in when both Barnaby’s guardians were laid off as a result of covid-19 and struggling to keep up with a new baby in the home. Animal Wellness Foundation has begun covering medical exams, medicine and treatments for Barnaby.

Mac & Pinky

This adorable young duo needed important vaccines to protect them from disease as well as monthly flea and heart worm prevention. After being laid off during covid-19, their responsible caretaker reached out to us for help getting both Mac and Pinky up-to-date with vaccines and veterinarian examinations. Animal Wellness Foundation is making sure Mac and Pinky receive the care they need.
